We work alongside interior designers, architects and their clients from early concept, for homes and commercial aquarium projects across Malaysia. We can work from drawings or site photos, coordinate cabinetry, filtration and electrical with your contractors, and handle installation and ongoing maintenance. The science of care

Balance, measured.

A healthy aquascape is a living system. Our aquarium maintenance and aquascape care across Malaysia is guided by water science, so each scape can stay healthy and stable over the long term.

Water chemistry
We balance water chemistry, keeping parameters such as pH, KH and GH stable and suited to each scape, so fish and plants can settle and thrive.
Nutrients & light
Plants are fed with SILV All in One Fertilizer, our own in-house formula well known among local hobbyists, balanced with light intensity, photoperiod and CO₂ to keep growth steady and algae in check.
Biological filtration
Beneficial bacteria are established through the nitrogen cycle before livestock is added, with filtration sized to each system.
Livestock wellbeing
We choose compatible species, stock responsibly and acclimate every animal carefully, so the community can settle and thrive.

Founder story

Where art meets science.

I set up my first aquarium as a kid. By eight, I had twelve scapes going at home.

Biology and chemistry were my strongest subjects, and I trained and worked as a pharmacist. It taught me to be precise about how living things work.

But I have always been drawn to composition and taste. Aquascaping is where the two meet: water chemistry, plant biology and the balance of a living system, all in service of a scene that feels calm.

That is why I built SILV as a curated gallery for nature design, not a shop that simply sells things. Each piece starts as a composition, and has to work as a living system.

Chief Designer

The hand behind the layouts.

Dex joined SILV in 2022 and leads our creative work as Chief Designer. Our designs aren’t made for a single photograph. Their best angle is in person, where each scape is composed together with the interior around it. That is what sets our work apart.

Dex once spent a full day on the cable management of a single tank. That attention to detail is why Jasper brought him on.
